Annual General Meeting 2010

The AGM will be preceded by an interesting talk from one of our psychologists. This year we have the pleasure to announce Dott Dorothy Scicluna, a psychologist with an interest in working with eating disorders. Dott Scicluna’s talk will focus on the personality trait of high sensitivity among Anorexia Nervosa sufferers.

The seminar will be followed by the AGM with the following agenda:
• Reading of last year’s AGM minutes
• President’s report
• Treasurer’s report
• Feedback from members


We would like to remind you that the membership is paid from one AGM to another. You may download the membership form from our website and send a cheque to the MPA treasurer, Ms. Marisa Giordimaina, or settle the membership at the start of the AGM.

These CPD practice seminars will have the following main goals:

• To provide ongoing opportunities for continued professional development for psychologists, psychotherapists, counselors, social workers and related health professionals

• To encourage a culture of reflective practice and provide a forum for discussion and the sharing of experiences

• To keep local professionals and practitioners up to date with research and interventions in the field
