What opportunities are there of obtaining scholarships or funding?

If you are interested in obtaining a post-graduate degree abroad, the Government offers a number of scholarship opportunities which you can find out more about by contacting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or by accessing the website www.foreign.gov.mt/scholarships.

Additionally, the Ministry of Education also offers a number of Commonwealth Scholarships for courses in various countries. www.britishcouncil.org

However, in order to be eligible for this you would first need to work for at least 2 years in a related field where you can experience direct work with a specific client population. Voluntary work is also considered.

For those interested in furthering their studies in Italy, yearly scholarships are available through the Italian Cultural Institute.
